English Department at UNL

Description: In August of 2009, UNL launched a new web template. I converted the English Department's site into this template as part of my duties as the Instructional Design/Media Specialist. The new site contains similar content, but I had to create something additional to put into a column that was added into the new template. I created an RSS news feed that pulls heads and short blurbs from the articles that appear on the home page. I also added related websites and events pulled from the department's event calendar. I also developed instructions for UNL web developers on how to create a test site for working with the templates before they officially launched.
